During the summer months between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend, the Sandy Springs Police Department’s River Patrol enforces the laws, keeps the peace, and helps make the Chattahoochee River safer for our citizens and all water enthusiasts. Since the inception of our River Patrol, officers have identified safety concerns, trespassing issues, and reduced the overall number of accidents and water-related deaths.
